What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Bullard Center for Environmental and Climate Justice Celebrates Dr. Abdulla Alabbasi's Milestone Achievement in Bahrain

Houston, TX — December 24, 2023 — The Bullard Center for Environmental and Climate Justice at Texas Southern University proudly announces a significant accomplishment by Dr. Abdulla Alabbasi, a recent Fellow with the U.S. Department of State's IREX Community Solutions Program. Dr. Alabbasi has successfully installed the first-ever Real-Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) system in the country of Bahrain, marking a groundbreaking advancement in energy modeling and renewable energy infrastructure.

Dr. Alabbasi, Director of the Energy and Environment Programme at the Studies and Research Directorate, Bahrain Center for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies, participated in the Fellowship program at the Bullard Center, where he collaborated with host mentor Ed Pettitt, a Graduate Research Assistant. The Bullard Center's commitment to addressing environmental and climate justice issues in underserved communities laid the foundation for Dr. Alabbasi's initiatives.

The recently organized workshop by the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies, led by Dr. Alabbasi, focused on advanced modeling of electrical networks and renewable energy. The workshop gathered researchers and specialists from key organizations, including the Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs, the Electricity and Water Authority, Bahrain Polytechnic, and Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC).

Dr. Alabbasi emphasized that such workshops align with national goals and global trends in renewable energy. The installation of the RTDS system in Bahrain is a direct outcome of the expertise gained during his fellowship at the Bullard Center, where he visited similar systems in Houston and east Texas. The RTDS system is a crucial step toward achieving Bahrain's renewable energy targets of 5% by 2025 and 20% by 2035.

In his role as a CSP Fellow, Dr. Alabbasi's collaboration with the Bullard Center focused on energy justice projects in Houston's underserved neighborhoods. These initiatives, including drafting a Heat & Energy Technical Advisory Panel Report and assessing the feasibility of solar, storage, and microgrid systems, demonstrate the tangible impact of the Bullard Center's mission on issues both local and global in scale.

The Bullard Center congratulates Dr. Abdulla Alabbasi on this remarkable achievement and commends his dedication to advancing renewable energy solutions. The success of Dr. Alabbasi's initiatives in Bahrain exemplifies the Bullard Center's commitment to creating a positive impact on environmental and climate justice issues worldwide.
