The Environmental Career Worker Training Program at Texas Southern University has been changing the lives of people in the city of Houston since 2012. After completing 12-weeks of rigorous coursework, graduation was held recently at the Barbara Jordan Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs in the Walter J McCoy Auditorium.
Graduates celebrated with their family and friends along with ECWTP staff, instructors and counselors including Bullard Center and SOPA staff. Graduates celebrated the many accomplishments they have achieved during the program.
ECWTP counselor Larry Blackmon (picture #4) inspired the students to go forth and do great things, and Dr. Denae King encouraged them to continue to represent us and Texas Southern University well as they begin their new career paths.
