Briana K. Augustus, MPA

Briana K. Augustus, MPA is the Digital Communications Manager for the Bullard Center. She is responsible for disseminating information about the center to the public and managing content on all platforms.
She received her B.A. in Mass Media Arts from Clark Atlanta University and her MPA in Non Profit Management from Southern University and A&M College. She’s an award winning journalist and spent the last ten years working in Broadcast/Digital News and Film.
One of the projects she’s most proud of is her Spring 2021 NBC/FOX Special Candid Conversations: Toxic Towns-Legacy of Environmental Racism. The show detailed issues of environmental racism in St. James Parish along the I-10 corridor known as “Cancer Alley” and a massive landfill in North Baton Rouge, an area already plagued with chemical plants lining the back yards of many citizens and the campus of Southern University.
Briana enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
